Jen Apter

Jen Apter, a native of Buffalo, NY grew up dancing on the competition team at Spezio’s Dance Dynamics. Throughout her years, she trained in all styles including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical/contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop and acrobatics. She continued her training throughout college, attending The University at Buffalo as a double major (B.F.A dance and B.A mathematics).

During her college years, she was able to grow as a teacher and choreographer at Spezio’s, teaching both recreational and competitive classes. After graduating, she made the big move to Los Angeles where she was able to start networking and booking gigs relatively quickly. She is currently signed with Bloc Talent Agency, and has worked with artists such as the Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, Tiktok star Bella Poarch, R&B singer Mya, FINNEAS, Ashe, Audrey Mika, various KPOP groups, and Waze and Odyssey. Recently, she was able to do movement coaching for Dick’s Sporting Goods campaign, Lululemon MIRROR commercial, and a Garmin Fitness Watch commercial. She also was able to assist on a virtual campaign for Spyder Athletics for Milan Fashion Week. She has assisted the infamous Galen Hooks, a top choreographer/director in the industry, that allowed her to travel to China and Mexico to assist with teaching classes at the Millennium Dance Complex studios over seas. Jen is a well-rounded dancer/choreographer keeping up with all styles of dance, and enjoys sharing her knowledge with future generations.
