Emma Smigel

Emma Smigel was born and raised in North Liberty, Iowa. She started dancing at the age of two and hasn't stopped since! Growing up, she attended her local dance studio where she began dancing competitively at age 12 and attended many regional competitions and conventions until her graduation from highschool in 2021. She has trained extensively in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical and hip hop. She also spent a few years dancing on her highschool dance team. She followed her passion to pursue a professional dance career after highschool in the fall of 2021 and moved to Brea, CA. A year later she moved to LA and has been here since! She is currently attending various classes and working with many local choreographers including music videos and live performances. She developed a passion for teaching as she began to teach at her home studio 6 years ago. She is so excited for another year at Level Up where she can continue to pursue her love of teaching and choreography.
