Crystal Knabeschuh

Crystal Knabeschuh is the current Artistic Director and Competition Team Director of Level Up Dance Academy. Born and raised in Texas, Crystal was classically trained in Ballet and Modern dance. After continuous injuries growing up in dance, she was inspired to study dance injuries by obtaining a B.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Dance Science from Texas A&M University. During her time there, Crystal was a company member of the Brazos Dance Collective. After graduating, Crystal moved to Texas and worked as a freelance dancer until co-founding Encompass Dance Collective where she was able to perform and choreograph from 2018-2020. Crystal’s choreographic works were selected for multiple festivals around Texas. While dancing, Crystal also worked for Houston Academy of Dance and West University Dance Centre as their Recital Coordinator, Costume Coordinator, and Competition Team Assistant Director. Crystal has been teaching for the last 8 years and her passion for helping dancers discover their true potential only grows. Crystal is grateful to be leading such an incredible team of staff and dancers here at Level Up Dance Academy.
