Jen Apter, a native of Buffalo,

NY grew up dancing on the

competitive team at Spezio’s Dance

Dynamics, training in all styles

including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical/

contemporary, and acrobatics. She

continued her training throughout

college, attending The University

at Buffalo as a double major

(dance and mathematics). During her

college years, she was able to teach at

Spezio’s, both recreational and

competitive classes that allowed her

to grow as a choreographer as well as

performer. After finishing up school and graduating with a dual degree, B.F.A in dance and B.A. in Mathematics, she made the big move to Los Angeles where she was able to start booking professional jobs. She is currently signed with Go 2 Talent agency, and has worked with artists such as the infamous R&B singer Mya, Finneas, Ashe, various KPOP groups, and Waze and Odyssey. Recently, she was able to do movement coaching for a Nike Jordan campaign and assist on a virtual campaign for Spyder Athletics for Milan Fashion Week. She has also assisted the infamous Galen Hooks, a top choreographer/director in the industry, that allowed her to travel to China and Mexico to assist with teaching classes at the Millennium Dance Complex studios over seas. Jen is a well-rounded dancer keeping up all styles of dance, and knows how to work with students of all ages and abilities.
